Terminator Dark Fate

I was in a stabs and booms mood, so I put on the latest Terminator movie.

Now I'm stuck having feelings and many of them are that grimdark Sisyphus feeling where nothing gets fixed forever, which is not a nice feeling.

I have to say the action sequences left me cold even compared to how I usually feel about action. I could see all the money and it left very little relatable in it. Whoosh boom spectacle. Like dancing with explosions. All the cool bits were where the setting was somewhere you could actually be.

But the story was made of people. I mean I do not like how they started it, but they threw some powerful stuff together from there. Character development. Solid ending.

As a whole I cant decide if I liked it or if it was too depressing.

... which is how I feel about the whole Terminator franchise, so.

That was a Terminator movie.

I know some people were upset about the big character death at the beginning, but I was just overjoyed to see a Terminator film that remembered that Sarah Connor is the central character of the franchise.
