Leverage, a lot of it
Aug. 13th, 2021 04:41 amI have been watching Lots more Leverage, possibly too quickly, because they're awesome but kind of smushing together in my head a little.
The Big Bang Job was really really great, and The Van Gogh Job made me angry at US history, and The Carnival Job is just... it's a really really bad idea to hurt Elliot and also everyone should stop doing that (in universe) but that was excite (to watch a fiction of, though sometimes I worry about Christian Kane also too)
And then The Grave Danger Job? The team dealt with that swiftly and it was very drama, but as stakes go that was a little bigger than I am having fun with, new rule, nobody hurts Hardison. Just make that a law here. Too danger, do not.
But I knew he'd be okay so it should be fun seeing them fix it? But I vote no hurting Hardison anyway.
But THEN in The Experimental Job when Eliot just volunteers... and Hardison again, but not expecting... and all that heavy character stuff! And! !!
... I vote nobody hurts any of them.
... but it is always satisfying to watch Eliot make people regret their life choices.
I mean that is the fun of the whole team, but, also, specifically.
And I just finished watching The Girls Night Out Job
which, fun
and also, I am not straight.
... it's more fun watching everyone when they are also having fun.
Like, I didnt used to like seeing Parker in little party dresses because Parker didnt want to be there, and it's like, awkward wrong, like being seen without my hat. Like sure no one else knows I'm underdressed but, I would rather they did not look at me until hat again. I wear less at parties, but that is on purpose, when I choose it.
Used to seem like Parker wasnt comfy with some of those clothes choices.
But now she is, so it is much more fun to watch her wearing slinky tiny things.
And Tara is great to watch.
... I keep thinking Seven of Nine, but on Picard.
... she is so great now... *happy sigh*
Also, this show is so much better about showing everyone off, it doesnt make me feel creepy to appreciate them. So that's nice.
The only down side in the whole show is Nate. Its like his whole thing is making people want to hit him so badly that when he shows them an outlet they go for it hard and he can trip them. But then, that means, he is mostly The Most Aggravating Man. And even when he's himself he has... Stuff to work out. And he's getting there. But.
He is my least favourite.
Yet I am looking forwards to him and Sophie sorting themselves out.
So I watched all that and all the episodes in between too and I think I should take a break for stuff to file itself in my head, even though it looks like the next episode is going to be a good one.
I really like Leverage.
