beccaelizabethI had so many books arrive today.
Big box of books

I ordered them, looked at the estimates for dispatch and delivery, and figured they might be Halloween books, but, they were direct from the publisher and not in stock elsewhere.
But then they arrived in less than a week! That's quicker than their listed minimum!
I had to wake up in the middle of the day because my sleep is upside down, but I like how parcel delivery is no contact now.
So now I have a big stack of Paizo Pathfinder books, having admitted I just like to collect them and dont need to think about when I could possibly play them.
They're all first edition Pathfinder and were all on sale.
I also got the newish second edition core rulebook and so far it keeps hitting my Change Is Bad reflex. But I think also it has irritating bits. Like, they are using the same words to mean different things, I think? But also using different words to mean the same things! What are Aeon stones when they're at home? Well they're an assortment of colors, do magic bonus things, and circle around your head, so I think we know. I know the other name used a setting specific word, but, we had been using that word for some decades. Grump.
I am willing to believe that it is full of improvements but it's going to be fiddly learning it.
In other deliver news, I cant find the CD of Big Finish Torchwood 49, and I cant remember if it arrived in the first place, but it is a bit late to complain and, also, I cant remember for sure if it didnt.
I know 50 got cancelled and 51 is only just now in the post, and I've got 52 already.
The drawer only goes up to 48, so I'd have to start a new drawer if I put 49 away, and I dont know which one I would start next.
So now it's just made of ???
I listened to it on the app already though and could possibly take it as a sign I dont strictly need the CDs
but I think I also need to download it onto the long term backup collection, which I am behind on, which is one why that I still like CDs.
Oh well.
I have many books today
and it will take ages to read through them
