Wayward Children
Apr. 1st, 2022 08:29 amOver the last couple few days I have been re-reading Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children series, starting from the beginning with Every Heart a Doorway.
I liked every story individually and put aol in a row they get extra satisfying.
I really want to see what happens next too.
Not a lot of deep thoughts about them - I love the diversity, all the different genders and sexualities and ethnicities and the body shape stuff and everything. And all the different character voices, and how nonsense girls and wicked girls and all the rest all make a particular sort of sense, but it's never so simple as the label.
Now I've got to decide if I want to go reread even more Seanan, or go try a new author.
