May. 3rd, 2022 09:17 pmToday I slept. Again. Not on purpose.
Not keen on that.
I have also read more fic. Not keen on that either.
A large part of the problem is I'm not really in a fandom right now, or really recently. There's shows that were cancelled, or finished properly, or took a direction I wasn't keen on, but there's nothing I'm a fan of like I have been some years. All fascinated and engaged. I miss it.
So reading fic is like revisiting old friends I havent heard from, who still have the same problems they ever did and work through them over again if I reread or watch reruns, but...
A lot of the time I miss them but fic isnt making me feel like the old days did.
Which is fair enough.
But I miss the other feels.
Also I want to write something but not bout characters anyone has met yet. Ones inspired by, yes, but not in character even for an au. And I did that, and then RL interrupted after the first draft, but... still kind of want to write.
Throwing characters at a module worked really well for providing adventure plot last time, but this time I'm thinking of having characters explore the town by learning about the odd items in a treasure cache, and that's going to need some incidents, but ones that dont fit on a battle map. Trickier.
Oh well. Will ponder some more.
