The most recent awake (yesterday evening, all today so far) has been annoying.
My head was made of No.
Not reasonable levels of subject specific no, just toddler throwing everything off the high chair No.
So I have played two computer games badly, watched an episode of Leverage, and read one long plotty fanfic, but also stared at the ceiling, wall or blank screen a lot because
No.
... I dont know, it'll probably wear off when I get some more sleep.
Also yesterday I spent the entire hour the cleaner was here checking all the apps on the smart tv and finding nothing new to watch. The BBC have plenty of Doctor Who of course, but the other channels offered nothing impressive. I suspect Disney and Netflix and Amazon have all the content I've been hearing about, and I do not have any of those subscriptions. And if I did I'd not get value out of them since I havent watched TV much at all this year. So it's frustrating.
And things just dont come out on DVD any more so you cant just buy them for later, and if a channel wants to disappear them, oops all gone.
What is even with that. Ugh.
... I would quite like to watch new Leverage but apparently it requires an Amazon account even though it's on an ad supported bit. But I want nothing to do with Amazon. Or ads.
Give me DVDs and I'd happily acquire them though.
*grumpy sigh*

Date: 2022-05-19 08:46 pm (UTC)I know how you feel, I'd love to watch "Our Flag Means Death," but I don't subscribe to HBO Max - I used to get it for free with my old internet company, just my luck!
