and also dark.
I think I slept through the entire shortest day. But on the up side, I'll be awake through at least the vast majority of the longest night of the year. I'll probably even have the light on.
you know I think I'm going to have to give up pretending on the whole 'pagan' thing. I mean the only reason I fit is that its really hard *not* to fit. Sort of a bring your own religion label it is. But the whole 'celebrate the seasons' 'in touch with the earth' bit... not so very much am I doing that. Mostly I just sort of... read books. Or read stuff on the computer.
I mean I'm not exactly religious. Philosophical, yes. Trying to figure out the universe, all the time. Very much concerned with the fate of peoples souls, not least mine, certainly. And of course god exists. They all exists. Make all kinds of changes in the world, have power, exist plenty. But the part with putting actual time and effort into actual... anything...
On the other hand, I'm kind of like a christmas and easter christian, because while I don't do much all year, a couple times a year I get guilty about it and think I probably should.
Anyway, have a nice solstice.
