Jul. 23rd, 2022 06:41 pmYesterday I finished Sourcery, by Terry Pratchett.
Adventure, excitement, and the importance of knowing who you truly are, be that wizzard, barbarian, or hairdresser.
Good stuff, hair raising and hilarious by turns.
Today's Book was Eric, another Terry Pratchett.
Bit thin, both in page count and story. It's the way things just happen to them. Eric achieves personal growth but the bar for that was on the floor.
I did like the whole new takes on old stories bit, but it reminded me more of the earliest books, too tired to other stories to quite fly for itself, and he really did get better as he went along.
Still good reading.
