The Last Hero
Jul. 24th, 2022 09:42 pmI reread my big hardback of Terry Pratchett's "The Last Hero", with illustrations by Paul Kidby.
That is a brilliant book.
Made of very big feelings. It's funny, often, but it carries you along with their rage at the gods, makes the Code make sense while never leaving it the only perspective, and for a book that makes me happy definitely pulls through a bit of crying at the nearly end.
But I love the end.
And I love how Cohen rolls dice.
It do land me back being very angry that PTerry is dead. But it has good words for that as well. The song remains.
But I think we also remember the singer.
