Oct. 7th, 2022 02:33 amI was making up rpg characters
again
and realised once more my character choices basically boil down to
but what if
not disabled?
... *sigh*
(Oracles are... difficult. their version of disabled is quite trying. but also bad.)
(I looked up 2E Oracles and they have done stuff that makes more sense, whilst changing the whole basis or the class, game mechanical and roleplay alike. but is less ablist the new way.)
If I could have magic items they would be
the headband that tells you if you're about to do an evil
the necklace that makes you immune to all diseases
the ring of sustenance - all the food, and only needing minimal sleep.
ring of feather fall, because ugh falling.
all the things with huge game mechanical effects are like... okay, a cloak of resistance, belt of physical perfection, and mantle of immortality would indeed rock, but... after all that you'd probably be in stat range of a healthy young person. Which would be nice.
I'd need one to be anti fear as well though, if I wanted to actually leave the house.
... I feel like I would have less fear if magic healing was an option.
Ah well.
Any playable character has a lot going for them really.
But I have a cultural studies degree and a stash of cultural media a medieval type could only dream of
so that's nice.
