I think yesterday/today before I slept I was awake like 22 hours
playing Pathfinder
because it turns out stopping *also* requires both willpower and executive function
so I spent the entire time after midnight thinking
huh, I should sleep
and then it was
10
am.


And that happened despite my watch reminding me to move around every hour
so setting a quitting alarm would also have been
tricky.



On the plus side this afternoon when I did sleep I had an excellent dream
where I did a thing and then was like oh no was that awkward ?
I said in the dream I never have known what the rules were and the older I get the more awkward it feels to have to start at the start.
but then the people in the dream were like
okay, here is a rule, this is a way to start, most of the rule is clear communication, here are some examples,
like that was a perfectly ordinary and normal thing.

The guys in the dream were from one of those rpg on the tv things
so explaining rules was just like a normal part of their day
even if this time these rules were social.


that felt cool.
