A Bilis Manger story that possibly plays with our expectations of a Big Finish Bilis Manger story.
Lots of creepy bits, pretty solid ending, but I liked it less well on second listen when I knew what was going on.
Also the artist's boyfriend who throws her art away and cant believe any of it ever actually sells is in a story with a character who usually gives out creepy overkill comeuppance
yet lives.
bit boring really.
First time through it was creepier because you kept wondering when the build would pay, but second time I knew, so it was a bit more linear for me.
It was quite good but doesnt give me the lingering creepies that Bilis stories so often arrange.
