Lone Centurion 2
Nov. 18th, 2023 11:27 amI have listened to two stories from the Rory in Camelot set and so far it seems... mean.
I mean the first one was doing comedy about murder too so it wasnt lacking in mean either
but
Lancelot has a crush on Rory
and there are so many moments where I dont know what the story wants from us if it is not
laugh at Lancelot about it.
Which is... mean and puzzling.
Also, Rory is sort of the Doctor in these stories, on account of him being so much better educated and smarter than everyone around him, but because Rory knows the things the audience knows, the story makes him shine by making everyone else stupid?
Not cool.
I like when Rory solves problems and saves lives with his years of nursing. A+ good call.
But I don't see the fun in making him the only competent person on Earth.
So I am not in a hurry to listen to the last story, except, then I will be done with them and can put the whole set in the drawer.
