Today I tried to get some old tasks finished before the new year
by actually assembling the flatpack thingy
but it turns out two of the pieces just dont fit.
wrong size.
wont fit.
and I feel like the stuff it is made from is not going to respond well to attempts to chop a bit off.

So now I get to decide if I should put it together without those bits
or
donate the whole thing unfinished.

... donate is obviously the tempting one. I'm sure they can figure it out...

But I tried!
many things were going together quite well until that bit.

ah well.
