beccaelizabethI really dont need to be looking things up in order to imagine how to transport a bunch of coins from a starship crash in the Brecon Beacons to Cardiff Bay
and yet I appear to be doing that instead of sleeping.
The in whoniverse answer is of course that you won't be sorry with a Harwoods lorry (and Rhys has Skills)
but me and my entire lack of a sense of scale
sits here trying to get my head around exactly how much a 20th level adventurer's wealth would weigh.
I found a thread on rpg money which would have been more coherent if they'd chosen an edition and stuck with it, but Pathfinder numbers were in there somewhere. They reckon the old round pound coin weighs about right to be a gold piece, though denser metal would be smaller. So now I'm going to try to imagine having to carry loot home as a whole giant bag of pound coins.
... I don't reckon I can imagine adventure scale loot even as pound coins...
... I am now imagining trying to get a bank van up to a dragon lair...
but I actually need to sleep at some point so hopefully I can set this thought down for now...
