Oct. 5th, 2024 06:16 pmToday's curiousity: Horse riding helmets!
Because actors should have nice safe heads even when their characters are medieval horse riders
but seldom do
(which annoys me)
... why do the helmets all have sticky outy fronts? is it part of the Standard or just, like, customary? could not the sticking out part be cloth? why is it better solid?
... why do they have glitter?
... and 'gemstones'?
... I did not think that bonus sensory stimulation was ideal for horsies...
then I got sidetracked looking up The Shining Armour Question again...
ANYway, google keeps trying to sell the same things over and over, I don't know which Standard applies to pretending to hits each other with LARP swords or if that kind of LARP is actually a thing, and I would have to look up Many horse related words to find out which of the horse related activities on the table I found was anything like that
but
I still think more people on TV should have nice helmets on more of the time.
