Doctor Who: The Story and the Engine

This was a *very* good one. I wanted to go back to the beginning and watch it over again at once, but I had to eat a food and my vitamins and so I've sat down with my computer and am writing this.
I loved the bit with the shop window, it reminds me of children's shows I only vaguely remember, so it goes in where the stories live.
And I loved that so much was sitting in a room telling stories, but I suspect some people will not love it. It reminded me of how Torchwood audios are more concentrated with the fewer voices etc, fewer elements to complicate the character interactions, but that means it left out a lot of the running whoosh boom that often happens so some people will not like that.
But the spider was *excellent*.
I liked it when the Doctor and Belinda laughed. Like sure, we're doing a season about gods, but.
The way the other Doctors were part of the story was very well done too. In a story that emphasised how this is the first life he remembers being in this skin, that got complicated. And it was great foregrounding that, and how he has been accepted in that community.
Also lets face it, Doctor Who can travel all of time and space and still land on parochial back on Earth, so anything that gets them out of Britain is a bit of fresh air.
I liked that story very a lot but I guess I don't have much to say about it.
See it unspoiled if you can, it's a good one.

Still more than me! Loved the episode, but my meta brain is broken.
