s3 weekly analysis

beccaelizabethThe Soulful Spike Society have decided to watch and comment on one episode a week of Buffy and Angel, like we used to watch and comment on live shows. We've started at the beginning, Welcome to the Hellmouth and City of. We could be here some time. With more than a hundred episodes on both shows, thats a couple of years. And by then we'll have new episodes of Ripper *happy shiny hopeful denial place*

why I mention it here is last night I managed 3800 words about Welcome to the Hellmouth. Three thousand eight hundred. And then a few more in other posts. Probably more than four thousand words about that one episode. Which is more words than I've managed in fanfic or (oop) schoolwork for a long, long time. But I've been writing about new Angel episodes and seem to have found my Thing. I look at lighting, colors, set design, and body language, and see how it all feeds the story. Sometimes I come up with very little. For WTTH I came up with 3800 words all in a row.

I also did some words for City Of.
I might not manage every week but I think I'll post about it here when I do think of things, because its a whole lot of work.
Of course practically the only people on my f-list are *from* the s3 board and know about it anyway, but someone else might notice.
