Highlander season 4: Chivalry
Jan. 23rd, 2006 10:43 pmThe last disc full I hadn't seen
this one, seen a lot
lots and lots and lots
pretty :)
actually, the naked guys make me giggle.
this is probably not a good reaction in other contexts.
But, Methos, Mac, and Richie all in the same episode
:)
The other thing Richie is looking for, someone to think he is special.
Who isn't?
So he finds someone who treats him like he's worth having around, and he's all set to follow them around
(kind of like Mac then)
Methos moments
'Candygram'
'mild mannered Watcher', so very mocking the Superman thing
just general presence of Methos
:)
Kristin is an annoying, melodramatic psycho bitch.
bored now.
Methos and Mac and the sword and the fighting
*happy drool*
Methos with the sword to his neck
again
not that its a kink *at all*
The trouble with Methos is whenever he's on screen he's by far the most interesting thing in the frame.
Which isn't a trouble at all, apart from it not being his show.
Methos just seems to have such fun with life. Knows the joke, might share it. Says everything with a smirk.
Richie... has had better days. Cement, wet, impressionable as. :eyeroll:
sick of him being older and wiser
can see how that could get a bit annoying
you've been there, you've done that. This is all new to me.
character dynamic squee!
not listening
tingling in places he didn't know he had
maybe we should just give him
*be pauses and thinks of much more interesting next suggestions*
(Methos. *FIVE THOUSAND YEARS*. I'm just saying.)
Mac with the grab and shake again.
In what world does he think this is an acceptable and effective method of persuasion?
Richie thinking with entirely the wrong head
surprise!
very young, and as far as we have seen not good with the relationships. They usually vanish after a couple of weeks. Been played by an older woman before, when she turned out to be married. Making entirely new and different mistakes now.
personally I don't think she's pretty, but I can understand being dazzled
the 'this is what its like to have kids' speech
somewhere between grouch old man and old marrieds ;)
Mac with another dead girlfriend
I'm reminded of that Anya speech about 'same girl, different guy. [...] maybe you're doing something wrong here too.'
And it isn't the Immortality thing. How many died of old age? One. Looooong after they broke up.
There's the title issue here but I don't know, after watching Buffy it seems really *facepalm*
women can be evil too!
well, yes. and?
*shrugs*
"If she'd been a man she'd have been dead 350 years ago."
If she'd been a man, it'd be an entirely different story
actually, given the psycho bitch aspect, I'm glad this one wasn't /
evil-insane-dead there's plenty of.
"You live and die by a code of honour that was trendy when you were a kid"
:)
snark and pretty
yes I have a type
Nose paint :)
and the down and up look
they're so cute together!
(yup this is turning into *squeeee!* Its a Methos ep.)
Richie
getting backstabbed
and out the window again
(I had a tape around here somewhere with a song about that)
(kind of a theme song...)
"A man who was born long before the age of chivalry."
*whack*
"Someone had to."
"I dislike death, but there are things I dislike more than death"
"Therefore there are occasions when I will not avoid danger."
"Death before dishonour."
"For some of us."
I love that exchange.
I love Methos, basically. Just shiny good stuff all over.
:) :) :)
Also, Methos is not a guy you can figure just from what he says. Says and does are quite different worlds. He puts himself on the line, but it isn't for abstract honor. More complicated and more simple. I reckon. For love.
I've got to go sleep, or I'd watch more right now.
*happy bouncy squee*
