Feb. 2nd, 2006 11:13 pmCrime Traveller is still full of implausibilities and annoying people.
(also, I still have a headache. I took a painkiller. pain is not killed. I hate headaches.)
there was just now a funny. He look at a blue police box and they played a slightly modified bit from the Doctor Who theme. He go time travel now.
so either (a) he watches the same TV as us or (b) this takes place in some corner of the Who universe and he happens to know about the Doctor.
(b) is less plausible but more fun.
Also, there is a character called Robson. Too educated for his own good. Graduate student trainee (detective). 23 in 1997. Kinda pretty.
Been bugging me he looked familiar. imdb provides - Peter Pevensie in the BBC Narnia things in 1988. Nifty. Though given how much he must have changed between I'm not entirely convinced that's the where of familiar.
ANYways. In the boring parts I've been speculating that he's the younger relative of the Robson who was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the one Giles found collapsed in his flat, who nearly got killed by Bringers.
Since Watchers are a family business, this Robson would then end up a Watcher.
This must be what they mean by 'obsession' - inability to watch any TV show without figuring out exactly how its a crossover with Buffy.
I'm actually really really bored. I should probably stop watching. But then I'd be curled up trying to sleep with a headache, and really, much less fun.
