beccaelizabethI was supposed to be at the creative writing class at 1030
which was, er, about three hours ago
I just woke up.
I had a bunch of dreams including ones about this guy that was half starfish and had kind of a beak in the middle. He left tracks of sucker marks all over me when he unpeeled.
My dreams are freaky in new and disturbing ways.
There was also the bit about the tsunami, where an island (or possibly Ireland) fell apart and we had to run away up a mountain. There was a handy mountain on the beach, and we could get up it real fast. But then there was waking up in a hotel and thinking the other part was just a dream, until I found the sucker tracks, and then figuring I'd dropped into an alternate universe in my sleep. And then the hotel got hit by a tsunami and it went all through the windows and was quite spectacular. I could make an air bubble because of the deal I'd made with sea god suckers guy. So I didn't get squished.
And then I woke up again.
Days with too many wakings up get very confusing.
This time I'm in the expected bed, there is no evidence of starfish anywhere, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get swept away by monster waves.
But YOU NEVER KNOW.
