The other day I had random thoughts about Buffy and Angel as different parenting styles

today it just occured to me that Dawn would have Opinions on the creation of Connor 2.0

Angel made him over into the son he thought he should be, created him out of nothing, gave him fake background

Dawn has experience there
and maybe a glimpse of the future

can make her perfect up to the point you stop writing her
then she can go and decide to do all the kinds of things monks would never build in

Connor? Rebelling against his father's plan? Be someone new, not who Holtz or Angel made.


I think I just talked myself into angsty/emo Connor/Dawn plot bunny

now I feel kind of *facepalm*




then it morphed into "let's go be bank robbers"
through a series of perfectly logical stages
and a conversation about how Dawn could have been a lesbian if monks weren't so stuck up
(Dawn was miffed about the lost opportunities)

It would be a bit like Amanda & Cory, only without the getting shot a lot
so not very much like at all really I guess


I don't think they'd get along with electro-Gwen though, she uses style and subtlety and stuff, not so much doing it for kicks
