Doctor Who: Pit

Fantastic!

I now retroactively like the first half
the second half did things just right.


Actually, I have little to say in the details. I loved the listing all the Ood names at the end, I liked Rose saving the day a bit, I *adore* the Doctor and the pit, and I *love* the Doctor having faith in 'her'.

Not because it is Rose.

Curse of Fenric - when he has to keep them back with faith, he says a list of names. Companions. He believes in *them*. Believes in people.



I admit I liked it better when he said many names.

But for that moment it was appropriate to believe in her, the active one.

The thing is, he didn't choose to take time and go Beast hunting later. He chose to use the original prison, rather than let everyone out and assume he could put them back in. Believing in the builders? Taking the precautions seriously? I mean, they made up such a spectacular prison, seems likely spectacular is necessary.



Now the Confidential is talking about applying the tatoos.
They have them cut out individually to paste on. One at a time.

Looks like they're having fun with cables.


I liked the Doctor's conversations about belief and how he's met fake gods. I like him mentioning Daemos. Lots of good stuff in there.



I am now very sleepy. I shall go sleep.

though while I think on it that bit about the horned beast being all over the universe... there aren't any plain old horned species where the horns are for good guys? Silly.

Or even all those religions with a Horned God... (though he did mention the Dalek god of war having horns, I think)

I also love how something as simple as broken glass becomes so *scary* in a space show.
