I poked Google to find out where you could buy a sword in Las Vegas.

Apparently the Excalibur hotel sells them. As souvenirs. Very cheap.

So presumably guys wandering around Vegas with swords is not actually rare.

depends on definition of real. metal, but not very good metal, is what I found said on a blog.

I just like the idea of, say, a Knight of Byzantium wandering around Las Vegas and everyone assuming he was part of the show.

I meant, not sharp. Not... useable. I could be wrong. But here, most souvenir type things you find in shops, won't cut paper. But re the knight, well, the outfits won't look out of place :)

not sharp, no, not usually. some blunt stainless steel I guess. Not good for decapitations.
