I am still awake.
This is very unhelpful.


I have decided I want to go to Cardiff.
I would sit in front of the Torchwood fountain and meditate.
I figure there's a place that would be extra quiet and peaceful on account of nobody noticing you're there.

... Yes, I know, there's a thing with being in the wrong universe for that to work.

Also, I just made up a story where I did that and they didn't check before they opened the lift door and waaaaaah! Down the rabbit hole / land in the Hub with a splat.

Only that would be boring because then the story would end.

So actually Captain Jack had magic shiny kiss it better powers.

Needless to say this particular story is a part of the ongoing go to sleep MarySue.

Captain Jack recognised me from my work in Fortean Times (which was about Immortals). And I recognised him from my research for said special interest. And then there would be story.


I've been poking around the BBC South East Wales website and they have a Doctor Who locations list, which is very useful. There's a Torchwood site too, but if they have a specific locations list I didn't finds it. I mean they have a locations linky but it goes to 'iconic locations' ie touristy thingies.

So, anyways. Go Cardiff, find fountain, sit. Plan.

... So I haven't actually been further than the shop in six months. Not the point.

Long ago,I lived in Cardiff. It's a place I think would be not difficult to get to from where you are and also very much worth a visit. But avoid Splott.
