I had a great time!
There were parties, and I got dressed up pretty and did dancing, and people said nice things about my clothes and my hair and my buzz lightyear gun and then there was talking and everyone said nice things about how much more talky I am now.
Yaays :-)
I think I'll remember some convention report type stuff later, but for right now my priorities are food and sleep.
er, slightly interrupted by laundry... I forgot to take into account that I need to go to college tomorrow so the underwear situation is a bit critical.
But aside from that, the plans worked nicely.
Well, except for spilling orange lucozade on my saturday clothes so I had to wear the sunday clothes early and then ended up in the camouflage trousers for the Sunday night, which turn out not to be very dance friendly. Bits of trouser seam end up getting very personal. Is a bit offputting.
Note to self- when lucozade won't open, banging it on the table really not helpful. :eyeroll:
Ran out of lucozade, but stretched it by cunning plan of buying fizzy water and pouring it into the bottle. Because then I have a sippy bottle full of fizzy orangey stuff.
Lucozade mixed citrus is... a great way of figuring out if I'm dehydrated: if I'm thirsty enough to drink the stuff, I really need to. :eyeroll2:
I did talking, which means I did saying the wrong thing, and I did social interaction, which means being kind of blinky clueless a lot, and sometimes I did being creatively clueless because people smell of drink.
But I did not have to run away and wash even one time, and there were handshakes and some kissing my hand (no I don't know why) and all kind of accidental bumping and it didn't freak me out even one time. I beam happily and stick my tongue out at my Issues. :-D :-p
... though mentioning my Issues always ends up sounding vaguely rude at humans. Not meaning that.
I put my usual blanket apology in here, but I'm basically smiley happy with me this weekend. I did cool.
And now my food is bleeping at me so I go do that.
