I was reading a how to write TV book and it mentioned shooting in blocks.
Saves money through doing all the filming at a location at once. So a quarry can be in a bunch of different episodes being obviously completely different alien planets if you film in blocks. And turn the camera around in between planets, obviously.
So DW does this, yesno? And Torchwood?
Anyone know which episodes got filmed all at once?
I can guess, but is no fun if I no able to check.
