apparently means run for the meeting room.
different plans, same number.
9 for emergencies, I guess.
- Love & Monsters
even just watching the bits with the actual Doctor in them, still makes me *facepalm* muchly
- Fear Her
The bits that weren't boring made me sort of tearful. Issues. Meh.
You know, watching all these in a row, this Doctor is kind of... rude. Abrasive? Manic, of course. Kind of... possibly too much?
I don't know, a lot of what I didn't like was Rose.
But someone somewhere on the internet said that it's hard to care about someone who doesn't care about anyone, and they were referring to 10. Anyone but Rose? Not so very nice to them.
Also that bit "I was a father", he just says it like it's nothing, but it has to be a huge deal. On account of past tense.
We know from Reinette and him saying he's always alright that he covers everything up, but the trouble with that is if you cover it up from the audience they could reasonably draw the conclusion it ain't there.
I didn't like the one with the TVs, I was doodling all through that.
I didn't like Love & Monsters.
I didn't really like Fear Her.
The ones with the black hole had some cool, but some annoying too. I mean, where's teh fun in squiddy monsters that turn out to be actual monsters? And there's too much difference between 'I believe in her' singular and the speech in Fenris with many many.
So I whine about quite a few eps in a row there.
But I loved right up until Mickey left.
Conclusion: Mickey yaay, Rose unyaay.
But also they seem to use up all the best episodes early.
I sulk.
On the plus side, after sleepings I get to watch Rose get gone, and I'll be all tidy timing for the Christmas special. Nifty :-)
