The Brigadier just said "Those crazy kids"
I am amused.
... Okay, I'm *easily* amused, but I call this a virtue.
Cybermen is scary.
The Brigadier's face fur is anti-scary. It's like he's being all take charge and competent and... fuzzy. It don't quite work.
The amount of time assorted characters spend standing on ladders wearing skirts
would be much more amusing in better quality pictures.
... yeah, it's cheap, but they're pretty.
So now there's Cybermen invading London!
... you know, the more I think about it, the more I think Torchwood and the ongoing theoretical ignorance of the mundane population of the 'verse is completely insane. Yet in no way new. I mean, they've been swallowing these explanations for generations. By this point they're well trained to never see a Cyberman when it stands up and tries to kill them
Zoe is once again shiny.
Even more shiny than this version of Cybermen.
... I can't help notice that some people look much better in silver wetsuits than others.
... is sort of offputting. Cybermen with occasional great legs.
So the Doctor is lying on the floor groaning and someone's all "are you alright Doctor?" and I LOL because he's woken up surrounded by shinybutt, kiltboy and some model they picked up for this story arc and, well, yeah, that looks pretty alright... except for the whole invasion thing, which could be inconvenient.
Then Zoe is running around the room getting all mathematical and there's all these soldiers looking at each other all bzuh and then there's one staring at her butt.

... heh, Transformers xover!
This is a good story arc this is. Lots of twists and people running around and UNIT and everything.

... er, I take it very serious, obviously.
... and then she's taking photos like they're a fashion shoot - shiny silver is *in* this year!
Doctor runs away! Heeeee! Bouncing running!
Cause, you know, quiet dignity is not 2's hallmark.
Camera! Doctor fixing his hair!
LOL much!
oooh, and then Very Tense Sitting Around Silently.
Heh.
And then spaceship go boom!
... is sort of less fun when it's tiny models in black and white.
in my head the kabooms is better.
Zoe posing for photos... yup, there's nothing femslashy going on here at all...
IN the field waving arms around looking for the TARDIS! Wheee! Funny!

... watching Doctor Who does not bring out my most grown up side. Y'all may have noticed.
Good things: Shiny! Cybermen! Scary!
Not good things: ... ummmm ... just the godawful picture really. The animated bits gave it a certain charm.
I got this second hand cause somebody watched it and decided they didn't want it any more.
Somebody is weird.
OMG I'm looking at the picture gallery now and not only is she wearing a feather boa is *bright green*. I kid you not. Green! WTF?
Sometimes I'm *glad* for black and white.
They're both in red and white but the feathers is green.
*shudders*
oooh, Cybermens in front of monuments look awesome in color tho.
I mean, obviously they're still silver, but with the reflections and the contrasts and stuff they look extra good.
Some of these pics are classic hero pose Brigadier.
Is a pity I still giggling about the upper lip.
I never seem to get around to watching the special features on these things, just look at the pictures.
Anyways, this one, definitely cool.

THough I adore that the Doctor Who themesong never changed, I had to pause in watching the few episodes that I have just to spend a moment giggling at how great that is :D
