More Torchwood bunnies

I need to finish writing Triage. I wrote a short version and then realised I'd sent the characters to do the wrong jobs and needed to back up and try again. Plus then I got an idea for how it should be structured that would make it three times as long. Three povs, Ianto-Tosh-Owen, just some missing scenes in and after 1-13.
But just now I got a follow up bunny.
specific images:
Ianto being veryveryformal when Jack gets back and Jack sort of shrinking and sad because there's "trying very hard" and there's "actual no fun harassment" and he kind of has to give up while on the right side of the line. Woe!
But then one time Jack joins Ianto in putting bodies away and has a moment of sad slumped against a drawer again - different cause, I'm not killing off anyone we know, at least not the core characters. But, sad Jack on locker 007. And Ianto just jumps him. Pounce!Snog, like totally desperate, because something inside went sproing. Because right there is where Jack was the first time Ianto asked him, and it's also where Jack was when he was... and Ianto can't even say it, but Jack gets it, and there's snuggly warm not going anywhere kissing instead.
If this was a drabble I could probably fit all that in and leave it there.
If it's in a story, probably Owen walks in and makes with the snark around then.
Later, Ianto pausing at the morgue with an almost ritual air, looking around.
Torchwood employees in freezers, waiting in patient hope of resurrection. Technological, of course, but with the same weight of hope.
If I were to put these in the same story the theme we have is dead dudes coming back, and the weight of hope and fear and all the rest that focuses on that.
Which logically makes it Gwen/Rhys fallout too, which would pull Owen into that half of the story. And if it were after Triage and Jack is back then Owen would have just lost out on being the leader. Which he wasn't at all sure he was any good at. So on both sides he's got reasons to be somewhat ambivalent about the resurrection thing. And Tosh hasn't had her dead returned to her, so she has only reason to be bitter and woeful.
To make it a Torchwood *action* plot we need something else - zombies maybe. Everyone's scared of zombies.
... soooo, what if someone could remember *both time tracks*? Abaddon killed so many people, and the way I wrote it in Triage almost all of them came back (except Jack), but a few (Team Torchwood) could remember them having been dead. Time was rewound in some ways, but it went wonky, not an even ten minute rewind or anything tidy like that, Rhys went back further and some people didn't go back. Which would leave some people to remember - and walk around every day surrounded by people they remember being dead.
Once they've written 0 on so many faces I wanted to make Ianto bump into someone later, for the pure angst value.
But if it's not *just* Ianto, then people would come up with different ways to deal with it.
Also, it occurs to me I can have one bit of physical evidence - Ianto borrows a phone from a house, carries it out with him, has it in his pocket when the world goes white. Okay. So... what if that exact same phone is also in the house, in the version of history that didn't involve them all dead? Then you end up with a bit of fractured time, resulting in two of the precisely same object. Which, er, looks like two of the same make phone, being not so very distinctive... at which point not having written Triage gets useful, because I can have it written on with indelible ink or with stickers or something. Was from a house with children, makes it easy.
I don't know what I'm going to do with all the pieces yet.
I think the titles are either variations on 'Triage' so it sounds like Tri or Age, or they're a countdown, like words involving Two.
There's a doubled time track and doubled memories and a sort of ... cat is both dead and alive thing going on. So Two words could probably fit. If I can think of just the right one.
