Just saw "Amok Time"
... fight music! clever medical trick! yaaays!
heh, and Spock almost having a happy... who is he kidding, that was totally having a happy.
... yes, I can sooooo see why this is the original slash fandom.
that and the thing where the only available female characters apparently sniffle and make soup. because that's the kind of woman I want to be writing about. :eyeroll:

eeeeew... okay, reasons to not so very much love the original series:
"one day she'll find the right man and then off she'll go, out of the service"
because the future is all about the cliche
I realise watching old TV is going to irritate me in certain very focused ways.
The weird mismatch between her being talking to Uhura when they say that would be one of them. Because they're obviously very friendly, and, well, slash goggles provide.
So anyways, liked all that Vulcan stuff, giggled muchly at the costumes, and the accents, and... well, the old school Trek of it.
