Have watched first season.
Like it.
It has, like, themes and issues and stuff. Because there was big fighting and now they're trying to not-fight. So, Theme.
And they pour it into individual stories and characters pretty well.
I think looking back at the series I get a bit bored with the ones that could have been set on any space show and really like the ones that dig in to the specifics of the situation.
Cool.
Though I still like the imaginary friends thing because funny.
Bit heavy handed in it's point, and really not terribly specific because we only got the hopes/fears of the federation guys, and then kind of abstracted, but still. We got character stuff. That's yaay.
There's a whole lot of characters. By the time they've all had a turn it's the end of the series. So I feel kind of like it's just one long intro.
Is still interesting. Specially knowing there's lots more to watch. If it was all new then I'd have to worry it got cancelled before it did anything fancy.
I'm also looking at college related books with a sort of dreary loathing. If the point is to find the fun in poetry I am so missing the point. All the stuff I thought was boring before is still pretty damn boring.
Last semester I pouted and wanted more weeks. This time I'm counting down with happy about the quickness.
... it might wear off. I can hope.
Still. Have previously done a lot more reading than I'm doing this time. Not that I'll get behind on the assigned stuff, but I'm not zooming ahead on the wider stuff either.
meh.
... I have another season of DS9. It's pretty much going to win.
Maybe I'll do like ten minutes reading just so I can say I have.
Actually, if I schedule ten minutes in between episodes then I'll get a ton done relatively painlessly.
Plan.

And have no clue which was my favourite season yet.
