Have discovered my opinions on suicide are so unwavering I now have major issues with the ending of Dalek.
That's some fairly context-independent opinions, right there.
Thing is though, if Daleks can change, they're not Daleks any more. And then you're into Spike and Angel territory. Redemption & enlightenment. Might be a very long way off, but if change is possible then that change could be possible. So ending is no longer the right answer.
Very dramatic though.
