Five for dinner

and topic was 'what five people would you invite to dinner?'
most versions of my list started 'Giles, Ethan, Methos'
but then there was the 'Oz, Xander, Andrew, Jonathan' list, and we'd try and figure out the last guest between us, because it would be geek central and they'd totally have opinions.
then there were the really metaphysical lists- I figured out a way for the whole table to be distinct fictional representations of the Devil. And it would be interesting. I liked the version with Crowley & Aziraphale from Good Omens, the Metatron from Dogma, the Devil from Brimstone, and Lucifer Morningstar from his own comic. I might not turn up at such a meal myself, but it would be really interesting. All the different styles of metaphysical being represented without going outside the basic christian paradigm.
Of course then there was the other list that went 'Willow, Tara, Jadzia Dax, the alternate universe version of Kira, and Amanda from Highlander'. Or the 'Nightwing, Arsenal, Robin, Superboy, and Poison Ivy' list. er, those were sort of more shallow...
Kind of interesting as a fic challenge though. Like a crossover based entirely on conversation, or possibly food choice or something. Just five characters in a room for a civilized meal.
I reckon with Methos to talk to Giles and Ethan could share a room without instantly getting violent. Just for example. Interesting starting place.
