beccaelizabethSorted out precise number of outfits needed. Added some extras in case I spray myself with lucozade again. Added some extras on general principles. Packed. Had the usual problem with zips, and at least two more t-shirts than is feasible. Unpacked. Will go through again in a minute. I suspect I'll end up taking out one of the daytime t-shirts and risking stinkiness.
They have guest talks at 0900 on Saturday. After a party until 'late'. When I want to turn up at both.
But the forum says there's about 300 attendees, which while not great for the organisers is pretty good for attendees cause it'll be smaller and more relaxed and more likely to work.
I discovered I had 4 bottles lucozade sport stocked, because I'm just that well prepared. That's not enough for a weekend, but Northampton probably has shops. Probably. I can't carry a dozen bottles down with me. I mean I've done it before, but it was never a good idea.
The hotel does not have safes in the rooms or a hotel safe big enough for a laptop. Therefore I shall not bring my laptop. *sulk* So I'll bring a book and a notepad. Also some photos in a folder, if I remember to sort them out. My unsigned collection is pretty.
On the plus side, the train line to London is working again, so the complicated rerouting to avoid it isn't absolutely necessary. I'll still as the train place how to get there though. They should have a clue.
