apparently I haven't watched TV for two weeks.
So I sat down and watched stuff off the recorder box.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles remains *superb*. Psychologically complex, compelling themes, and excellent episodic structure combined with overarching season arc. Also, great fights.
As for the rest...
The Outer Limits was slow, clunky, with plot twists I saw coming an act early. I could probably have predicted the whole thing from the start but I wasn't that interested.
Sanctuary... one episode was slow, clunky, and I couldn't see how the pieces tied together. The next started out with an 'abnormal' who had an artistic talent and was diagnosed autistic. I stopped the stupid thing right there. Autistic does not equal super powers. Just... no.
Now I'm watching Masters of Science Fiction.
They poke interesting issues in all the episodes I've watched so far.
They're also very very talky. Not so much with the plot twists and action and great visuals. More with the interesting discussions. I'm kind of thinking they'd make better radio. *shrugs*
Actually, the radio stuff I've been listening to has more action in it.
Bored now.
But still, interesting story on lots of levels.
I think the box just got another Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I like recording them before I watch cause there's 5 solid minutes of commercials in every break and I really can't be bothered with that.
