I have rediscovered onions.
Onions are good. I like onions. They go with the quorn and make it taste like something other than the same quorn.
I don't use knives due to Extreme Clumsy. Are there still ways to get onion? Other than buying something at Subway and getting Lots of Onion and putting most of it away for later.
... weird, but practical.
Maybe the salad bar at supermarkets has a Lots Of Onion box. I haven't really looked. Maybe salad could be more interesting if I thought of it as sandwich filling without the fake meat parts.

... now my mouth tastes of chocolate and onion.
... I don't think that one's ever going to really catch on...

I don't think onions and chocolate will catch on either! However, in the United States, supermarkets always sell frozen chopped onions.

Here in Germany you can get small boxes of frozen chopped onion as well. Shouldn't be more in there than one or two onions worth of onion bits.

Hm, chocolate and onion will probably go the way of garlic and honey, that of the unappreciated and neglected flavour combination...

Frozen onion is good. Not sure if the world really wants to know though.

I also remembered this bnifty thing after I commented. An onion chopper, where you put onion (or herbs or whatever you want chopped) into the clear part, push down the black part a couplelots of times and get small pieces. Used chopper goes into the dishwasher and fingers are safe from blades. I'm sure other shops have it as well, but Ikea was the first international one I thought of to show you.

Get yourself a very small food processor chopping thing - one where all the parts go in the dishwasher. Onions keep for months in the fridge as long as they are dry.

They normally come with a safety feature so the blade won't rotate unless the lid is completely closed in the correct secure way. If you have a shop nearby they could probably demonstrate for you.
