Oh so bored

beccaelizabethI am doing the transcript for Day Three. I keep on stalling out because, well, it's ... incredibly boring. I mean, the conversation with Jack and Ianto, that's good, but then there were beans. And then there was a good bit with Action Alice. But now it's being all tense by having everyone see the same thing and be all surprised and shocked and worried about it. Ianto is reading out exactly what it says on screen. So is the newsreader. And the sure and certain knowledge that there's a lot more of this to come... I just found myself begging it to grow a plot.
Usually I do transcripts so I can read for nuance, watch for moments I didn't see first time around, watch the team interact and get every ounce of background I can out of it. But how much of this does the team spend even interacting, much less together?
I've had enough with the music telling me to be tense and the characters being all tense and knowing I'm supposed to be tense. Tense already! Get on with it!
*sigh*
Okay, so it's only a two minute sequence. But it takes considerable longer to type it out. And I'm looking at it and remembering the sequence with the shorthand at the end of the episode - many, many minutes at the end - and...
This stuff is only my idea of fun when I like the story. And, well, I seem to have run out.
... I don't suppose posting a half done version and getting people to comment with the rest like a wiki would work?
