The new CGI effects add a sense of scale. But they're a bit charmless.
Nyssa randomly running around with less clothes on doesn't last very long yet is somehow the most memorable bit.
Turlough could do with more smarts.
I love the sparkly space suits with big helmets to leave room for bigger hair.
Radiation is glowy. So is hydromel. And Garm eyes.
I like the radiation armour that makes it look like muscles are on the outside.
Turlough still has good shoes.
Tegan does not. Wear running shoes.
Shouting at computers doesn't work but thumping them does? Win :eyeroll:
TARIS console has rainbows at the moment. I like it.
Oh look, Nyssa is wearing next to nothing again. And her pants are showing. Clearly a necessary artistic choice.
You know the whole of the plot, the suspense and cliffhangers and everyone's actions, hangs on them not knowing that people taken to be cured actually are cured. That seems like a thing people would know.
Why is it necessary to sit on pretty boy to pin him down? Art!
I *love* that Nyssa stays for a reason.
Tegan doesn't get sick even though she's the one that got grabbed. Bit irritating really.
Nobody wears thigh high boots on science fiction any more. Sad.
I hate the music more in otehr episodes but it's really just a bit annoying already.
Doctor stripy trousers are frequently distracting. Jacket is more elegant.
"Doctor, I've made a fantastic discovery! The cure for Lazar disease works!"
... yes, that's a discovery. The thing everyone else already believes.
I like Bor. He's odd.
The Doctor just used a laser gun to get rid of a lock. Sonic is better.
Nyssa and her magic chemical analysis by staring! Win!
I think the CGI were the wrong shape for that engine shutdown bit.
Seeing the leaky engine shut down from inside worked perfectly well anyway.
"It'll be good to see the TARDIS again"
"And Tegan."
"Yes, well"
... and that was when she knew she wuz not the favrit...
So Tegan and Turlough spend the whole adventure crawling under the floor. Productive!
Turlough had a lot of stuff going on.
Nyssa is win when she's leaving.
Doctor is not good at goodbye. Was going for a handshake. Doesn't watch. Silly boy.
Turlough is an interesting balance of scary and scared. Actually he's not very scary because he's not very good at it, but he has that killing people conversation and making things go wrong, so you never know what he'll do next, but he is clearly being bullied into it, so you never take against him as just evil.
It is still easier to take characters seriously if they're not bird brains.
