Just now got back from seeing Serenity

I will have thoughts. Right now I'm still having reactions. Top of the list, want to see it again!
Except it took me this long to get to see it once, so, don't know how likely that is.

Also, my local cinema remains tiny and rubbish. The screen had dirt on it, and also is made up of lots of tiny holes for some reason, which makes the film look pixilated. And it is only about three or four times as big as my TV anyway. And the sound system is crappy. My brother has better sound. And, granted, my brother has cinema quality surround sound, but thats the point, the cinema doesn't.
Want to go see it on a proper big screen with seats that work much better.

but the film was brilliant

and just to be clear, I'm not technically a Firefly fan. I saw it, but I never could get into it. Don't know why, it just didn't grab me. Now, am very grabbed. Am probably going to order the DVDs, I'm that grabbed. This film was brilliant.

Okay, my very short con report
Galactica One was a great convention. Unfortunately I wasn't there for half of it. Got sick. And my retention rate for what happened on the parts I was there for is way low, so, short report, and almost certainly containing errors. Don't take my word for anything, I'm way fuzzy on this weekend. And I don't even drink, so I call it unfair.

But, great weekend, for the Friday and Saturday parts. Great guests, good fun, extra cool for being smaller, even though I'm sure the organisers money would prefer more attendees. It was a good con, and I'm going to the next unless there are scheduling conflicts.
