I'm reading a book full of werewolves, and I keep on getting distracted by Oz. Who isn't even in the same universe.

Oz in my head just turned up at my imaginary flat (which is somewhere with a street outside and also trees) with his van and some boxes in the back, about a week after he wandered off and I hadn't expected to see him again, all shy and hopeful and hoping to move in with me.

This is what happens in my head when I'm reading actually very interesting novels. I have an entire MarySue romance of my own developed (including kinky semi wolfy situations, because my brain is *strange*)

Its a wonder I ever concentrate on anything.

Also, I decided to go sleep approximately 4 hours ago.
Sleep would be of the good.

My helpful person brought me a shiny :)
pretty beads. and also some long gloves that are shiny.
cool!

and my helpful cleaner person has been here too. so all is made clean. There was much less washing up to do, but I'm still getting dishwasher safe stuff, so not quite all things can go in the dishwasher yet.

clean! shiny!

Nick to Ed: "I notice I get my turn after every woman in the hospital's had a go"

(slashy lol)

Okay, the show isn't that high on the slashometer over all, but its like the isms at school, once you learn a particular way of reading a thing it gets difficult to turn it off...

BUGS season 3 is annoying
new character, who they use to break show not tell, by having her tell everyone all about the hidden depths of Ed. Why should he have depths? What was wrong with shallow but crazy? Plus they had a thing that should have turned into a sub plot character development thing, where he got blowed up and put back together with metal bits in and was feeling all Frankenstein's monster. There could be exploration of change in self image! Instead there is being all uncertain and puppyish about the new girl.

Who I won't call a MarySue, but she is very borderline. Younger than the others, even more independent and maverick, starts as a file clerk but has read all the files and remembers them so has more knowledge than the rest of them, and also happens to teach martial arts. If she didn't keep screwing up, and be only vaguely accepted by 2/3 of the team, she'd be a Sue. As it is she merely annoys. She shouldn't, because she should fit, but instead they've been so busy establishing her they've annoyed me with her-overdose.

Plus, the romance thing. It isn't the new character's fault that they've decided to introduce romance subplots in season 3, she just turned up at the same time. And is the focus of one of them.

But couldn't they have just kept it about working together? That was working fine!

So now I'm whiny. This is typical behaviour when I get fannish. *sigh*

fic bunnies and fan whinging about a 10 year old show nobody else has heard of. *headdesk*

I should really go watch something else.
But there's only like 15 eps left before I've watched all there ever were, so it won't take long.

Aside from the character and relationship stuff, BUGS is still just as fun. Lots of improbable master plans and stuff going boom still :)

I'm avoiding Highlander because I know that won't take long either. And then I'll be all done. And I don't wanna.
I mean if I finish and stay this story-hungry I'll probably end up buying season 6 or Raven, and that wouldn't be good.
