Watched two more episodes of Heroes.
oooooooh. coooooool.
Now I have to wait until next Wednesday at 10pm
or, you know, cheat.
... I think I lasted this whole week on lazy. if I muster up any energy or enthusiasm I'll probably download.
One thing though - I didn't think I'd read spoilers for Heroes, I hadn't paid attention or anything, and yet somehow a bunch of key moments have been not "eeks, surprise!" but "oh, so that's where..."
Which is kind of... irritating? Like stuff got a bit flattened out by pure fan osmosis.
Meh.
There was still plenty of cool.
And it's visually *awesome*. I don't know what their budget is but the results are impressive.
And there's people in it! In stories! Lots of different sorts!
that's just kind of shiny.
The 'heroes unmasked' thing I think I'm going to have to give a miss, if I want to watch things for the first time in context. I don't know, I watched it in between two episodes but I vaguely recall spoiler. Also it wasn't very interesting. Stuff about FX. Really... meaty.
A lot of the guys are pretty. Especially Mohinder.
The female characters thus far bug me for their categories. I mean
( Read more... )I don't know. Sometimes stuff bugs because it's meant to, and sometimes you're left wondering if you're meant to just like it, and... ick.
Now I'm comparing it to how Torchwood looked and female bodies represented there and... hmmm.
I shall have thoughts.
