Furniture delivery has worked and both items have arrived in separate deliveries ten minutes apart, which is pretty much best one can hope for on a delivery day, even if it was like half an hour before I'd understood the delivery slot to begin. Probably I got that bit wrong.

CD/DVD cabinet with lots of drawers is here :-)

I did something painful to my back when the chair arrived :-(
And I can't see how to get the CD cabinet out of the box at all anyway :-(

I'll figure it eventually. Probably it involves tearing the box and thus means you can't return it in its original packaging. :eyeroll:


If it's not proper then the company doesn't get my 'same like that only to fit the rest of the CDs in' order that I currently anticipate being necessary. It's nice and big, but I have all the big finish Doctor Who except like a year so more big seems likely to be necessary.

This is fun though, like presents.

Furniture half worked today, since I figured out the CD cabinet box but didn't even really start on the chair assembly.

Tomorrow I will get up again and have another go.

But today I will sit in my recliner and relax in the only comfy position and hope my back stops hurting before I need to do anything.
