Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2

That is a good movie.
With a talking raccoon and a tree and green and blue people and everything, that is still a movie with heart about caring about each other even when they're not nice people.
And it made me cry, exactly when it intended to, and then it keeps going and takes you through the crying part, and then by the end of the credits it's funny again!
Movies are magic.
And now I had feelings.
And I'm kind of annoyed about it, because feelings.

Unlike with the Avengers I do not spend time between movies daydreaming of moving in with these guys (or fixing their argues and moving in with them) because woah too much boom no thanks. There is adventure and there is all that.

But that is a movie that does what it set out to do.

Spider-man Homecoming

You know how high school was basically made of embarrassment, anxiety and stress?
... guess what I mostly feel watching this movie?

It had many good points but I believed in teenage kid Spider-man enough that I don't actually find it fun to watch him fighting. He's tired and scared and very beat up and it should not be his turn yet.


... writing this down actually makes it sound like I'm more upset than I am. I am fine. The characters are fine. It's all fine.

I just do not find many minutes of this story actively fun to watch, even when Spider-man is being cool and doing amazing things, because kid.



I am going to watch Thor and watch actual millennials get beat up instead.

Today I realised I haven't used any of my nail varnish since I got a cream leather chair
because I can either have many colors or a cream leather chair.

... that wasn't my best plan.

So I like this movie, and bits of it I've rewatched every time they come past on tumblr, but I have a few niggles.




And a lot of tired now, so I won't be moving on to the new to me movie tonight.

But I've got that to look forwards to.
