I went to college, and did not quite miss the bus. I contributed in class, only embarrassing myself the one time, but being quite fluent about why texts can be feminist even when the central character goes mad and dies and doesn't achieve anything. I went to the library and read a trashy vampire book for four hours and apparently ate two bags of maltesers and a bag of hula hoops oops. Then I chatted with some fellow part time students about way back on Access, which they reckon was 8 years ago. Sounds about right. And then I walked up to the Forum library to swap the trashy vampire book for the next trashy vampire book in the series. Which took some hunting because there's three sets of shelves I checked where it could have been in alphabetical order next to other books in the series but not just the one set where all the books in the series live. Seems inefficient. I have yet to fully grasp the library shelving there.

After all that, tonight was Bollywood Sparkle dancing. I danced. For an hour. I didn't crunch into anyone and I didn't fall over and I only sat down twice as often as everyone else and I think I got the moves approximately right though they're always much crisper the first time rather than the bazillionth time, even though you'd think practice would make it easier. My right foot says it did all the dancing thanks a lot but aside from that it was fun. :-)

Now I shall sleep. A lot. Probably all weekend.
I did going and speaking and interacting with humans four days in a row and it wasn't even a convention. Four. Is many.
