Well who was it who made the Daleks that annoyed?
Who was it that tried to wipe them out?
And then the way Survival ended, that bit 'if we fight like animals we die like animals'.
Daleks always make the Doctor go dark. And I suspect it has turned out rather badly. If he keeps on going that way, just keeps being bigger problem.
Now if, instead of trying to blow up the Daleks at their inception, he'd fiddled their DNA to put the compassion back in, how different would everything else turn out?
And what is there stopping him finding out, now the worst has happened?
