LJ sinking into spam

I keep getting spam comments on LJ. I splat them and there's another one along within the hour. And it's annoying, because they sound kind of plausible, but how many anons with no specific references to the page they're on can there really be? Plus, the more they sound like generic comment of yaay keep up the good work, the sadder it is to splat them.

Of course the worst bit is the suspicion I'm gradually becoming less expressive and interactive than the spambots.
