Sep. 27th, 2005 08:35 pmTHUD! is one of those books where you get to the end and you want to start over again because now you know how it ends it will be even better.
And Terry Pratchett remains incredibly good at sneaking the Big Thoughts in around the edges when you aren't looking.
I love this book.
I paused to eat at some point today. I also seem to have had 2/3 of the chocolate cake bars and some hula hoops. I really should remember about not putting food in arms reach while I'm reading. Don't waste calories, think about them while eating.
I think I need go sleep now. Is college tomorrow and I'm yawning a lot.
Also I need to get my hair done soon. Now I've got all the doctor/dentist/college bits out of the way I have noted it is about twice as long as I wanted it, and very long past the last time it got colors. and also a big mess. which is why short is good. *sigh*
tomorrow, study skills, tutorial, math. I don't technically have to turn up to study skills but tutorial has useful things and gets mixed in with the study skills, so I probably will again. And then math. I still lack calculator but I put one in the shopping basket for next week, in case I don't pick one up cheaper before then.
Tired. Want about another weeks rest before class. but also want to pass the course this year, so up I get tomorrow.
