Sims4 makes a story

Sims is going well. Draco and Harry are about as Romance as Romance can be, pink bar all full. So then Draco proposed! ... and Harry said no. ... and tried to Woohoo, and then Draco said no. They were both as embarrassed as it's possible to be. And there's not enough beds, so they had to be embarrassed in the same one. Draco keeps taking them outside to kiss and Harry keeps taking them to his room. It's a whole plot in awkward Sims interactions. I think I've read that one a couple times. But they are boyfriends, like officially, and will work on their interactions until they actually agree on the point of this relationship. Or until I lose interest, one of those.
I did not make them Enemies first, even though I played an Evil Sim yesterday and know how. They just jeer and fight and get an enemies relationship bar and eventually can declare enemies like you'd declare best friends. If I did that though then Draco would keep doing the bad stuff whenever I wasn't pressing buttons and that's not what I wanted.
... I could load the household in a different game and do it that way later.
Right now they're in a giant house, because Draco aspires to a mansion, but they couldn't afford to paint it yet, so it's giant and made of drywall. All the furniture is second hand and the lights are kids room stuff. It's tatty and awful and Draco would hate living like that. But it's a pain building more walls on later so the walls are there and it's an epic fixer upper. Like, it has two floors, and I was going to make the roof glass and give Neville a greenhouse up there, but we can't afford the stairs. So. They are saving up for stairs so they can actually use their house.
Draco and Neville spent most of the set up money, but they don't have jobs. Neville just works in the garden at home, and eventually that will bring money in, but at the moment not so much. Draco brought a bunch of plants home by visiting rich people house and a fancy chateau and just harvesting their gardens. So once those grow we'll be doing well, but it's going to take a while. Meanwhile Draco's 'job' is getting along with the neighbours.
Ron and Hermione don't seem to get along much at all yet. It is Awkward. Hermione is busy with her Politician job and keeps campaigning at people. Ron decided to be a secret agent but keeps taking risks and coming home Sad. Getting them both in the same place at the same time is proving tricky, and once there they only kind of bump along as friends.
Harry is not a secret agent or a detective or anything else dangerous. It seemed like he needed a holiday. He's going to be a chef.
People keep missing the start of their work and it's annoying. Keeping up with five of them is not simple. Oh well.
Next I'm going to try and get Draco into all the right clubs, even though I don't know which ones those are. It will be interesting to find out.
And eventually Harry will treat him with respect and actually get around to dating him in public, and then an equally public proposal. And eventually with the big wedding. ... though they'll have to save up quite a lot first. And possibly fix the walls...
