Nov. 15th, 2019 08:49 pmWhen I read the Pathfinder rules that mention the test of the Starstone
I decided right there any character of mine had a goal:
become a god.
... it's already a crowded market, but it looks like fun, so.
Turns out there's a god specifically for hunting people who want to become gods
which obviously makes that trickier
but today I read that they dont take assassination contracts on rightfully appointed monarchs, since they see them as being divinely appointed.
So, new goal:
become monarch.
then become god.
as campaign goals go thus is shaping up nicely.
Of course with all the Reincarnation and Resurrection options around
it seems like getting assassinated would only really be a bit of a bother
as long as you had friends to get you brought back.
... though that kind of magic is divine and if you manage to piss off gods I imagine it gets harder.
So goals include: stay on Pharasma's good side, befriend high level religiius types,
become queen, become god.
Simples!
... also, find a group to play Pathfinder with
who will not mind this level of shenanigans...
